IProcT - The Integrated Procurement Team

The Alliance Supply Chain business unit is responsible for the strategic sourcing and awarding of compliant framework agreements in alignment with the Alliance business needs, as well as managing the procurement of goods and services across the Alliance, ensuring best market value is secured and framework outperformance and target benefits are achieved. The Business Unit conducts and facilitates supply chain integration across all areas of Supply Chain engagement covered by the Category areas of the IProcT (Integrated procurement Team) – including subcontracts, process plant and equipment, construction and infrastructure materials.

Chris Candlish, the Alliance Supply Chain Manager, heads the department, with senior managers Mark Williams, Procurement Manager with a focus on the category procurement and sourcing activities, and Moe Anderson, Framework Development Manager, responsible for performance management and development of the frameworks. The departments focus is on scheduling and procuring the majority of goods and services for the Alliance using CCMS and expediting the key orders through to delivery to site. The centralised and integrated procurement is a significant part of the strategy for delivering the Alliance programme, bringing the supply chain and the project teams together to improve efficiency and introduce innovation. Maximising the value from the supply chain, using frameworks, collaborative working groups, creating demand visibility and leveraging commercial advantage are all important parts of the AMP5 strategy.
